My interview was on 30th May 2005 and I cleared the interview.
After that my medical test was on 29th July 2005 and still I am waiting for reply from CHC.
Can u tell me how much time CHC took for decision after medical test?

Hello there,
There is no standard processing time that we can provide for you. Each case is different and will be processed by the local Citizenship and Immigration Canada visa office, according to their resources and number of applications they are processing.
The length of time it takes to process an immigration application (including Skilled Worker, sponsorship, business immigrant, etc.) can be different in each overseas mission or visa office.
You may want to read additional information here:
How long does it take to process my immigration application? http://www.settlement.org/sys/faqs_detail.asp?faq_id=4000515
I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions and if there is any follow up to your question/situation.

Today I contacted CHC of Islamabad through email and they replied that they haven't received medical results and as soon as they will receive the result they will proceed further. Can somebody help me in this regard because already 4 months have been passed after medical test. What should I do?

Hi there. I could tell you the experience of one of my relatives who was processed through the Islamabad post. I inquired about the time period from medicals to visa issuance. He told me that it took about a good 5 months from the time of the medicals to the time that he got his visas. Medicals were done in September and visa was issued in in early Feb.

Thanks for your reply but CHC of Islamabad replied that they haven't received medical results (already 4 months have been passed after medical test).

They haven't received it yet, OR they have received them but have not processed them yet? If they have not received yet, time for you to call the physician who did your medicals and find out. However, on the other hand, it could also be that it has probably started to take this long at Islamabad. But, in my opinion, if CIC has not even RECEIVED your results, i would definitely call the physician and find out.

Well I guess it depends which category you applied in. Did any family member sponsor you from Canada or you applied individually? My brother sponsored me and my parents. We had our medical on 1st August 2005 in Islamabad and got the visas in the 1st week of Septemeber 2005.

I applied individually and its almost 4 months after medical test and CHC Islamabad is saying that they haven't receive medical results yet. I contacted Doctor who examined me and who sent the medical results to CHC and she replied that she sent it to CHC New Delhi and gave me copy of courier receipt. what should i do now?

Oh, so Pakistani medicals are sent to the New Delhi office? I was not aware of this. In that case, it could be taking longer due to international delivery. In either case, you should try sending a letter to New Delhi post with the courier receipt and a cover letter mentioning your file number and your request. Also, forward that copy to Islamabad office. May be that way they can look it up. It is always good to communicate in writing with federal agencies.
