Hello,

Thank you for sharing your situation and question with us.

According to the CIC Website in the Acceptable language proof to apply for citizenship wizard section.

Adults between 18 and 54 must prove that they have adequate knowledge of English or French to apply for citizenship. To do this, you must send at least one of the documents we accept as proof with your citizenship application.

For further clarification and a definitive answer, you may want to contact the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) Call Centre directly.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions and if there is any follow up to your question/situation.
