I'm sponsoring my husband and child. the application process was finished and we need now to send the passport to get the PR.

I'm now pregnant and would like to give birth in our current country. There will be 2 month left after the child born to land in Canada before visa expires.

What is the best option for us?

1.
If we make the landing and return to give birth would we need to start the entire sponsorship process again for the new born? is that the same number of forms or there are a short form for adding child after PR?

2. can we ask to extend the visa after he'll born and add him to the application before we land? (2 month left to expiration)

Hello,

Thank you for sharing your situation and question with us.

We just need some clarification regarding your inquiry.

You mentioned that you are sponsoring your husband and child. Are you a Permanent Resident or a Canadian Citizen?
