The Settlement.Org Web site provides newcomers with information and resources to settle in Ontario, Canada.
Settlement.Org does this in three ways:
Settlement.Org seeks to improve the quality of information and services provided to newcomers.
Settlement.Org provides an electronic community where newcomers can read announcements, make contacts, discuss current issues, find answers to frequently asked questions and access a directory of organizations.
Settlement.Org is open to all and is accessed most frequently by newcomers, settlement workers and the general public.
Please see the general overview for a more detailed description of features on Settlement.Org.
The site was developed by Ontario Council of Agencies Serving Immigrants (OCASI) and funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada and the Ontario government.

While we have general information on this site about how to immigrate to Ontario, Settlement.Org does not have comprehensive information about the immigration application process (i.e. Skilled Workers, Business Immigration, Visiting, Work Visas, etc.). Nor are we able to answer questions about how to immigrate in our Discussion area. It is simply impossible for us to reply to every request for information about immigrating to Ontario. We recommend you visit this site for information about immigrating to Ontario.
