Outreach Partnerships

Our main priority is to bring Settlement.Org to the attention of the newcomer audience. We achieve this in many ways, one of which is through community outreach.

Demonstrations

We offer free and in-person website demonstrations (demos). These demos focus on Settlement.Org and are delivered across Ontario to newcomers in:

• Settlement agencies
• Language Instructions for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) and English as a Second Language (ESL) classrooms
• Elementary and secondary schools
• Public libraries

If you were a participant in one of our demos and have not yet completed the evaluation, please take a few minutes to do so. Your feedback allows us to make changes that will enhance your experience on our websites and in our demo sessions.

Public Events

Another way we get the word out about Settlement.Org is at public events, such as conferences, tradeshows, career expos, community and information fairs, and more. These events allow us to meet and share information with our audiences in a meaningful way.

Please note that only events or workshops that are relevant, free (or low-cost), and have a specific beginning and end date will be posted.
