English-as-a-second-language (ESL) classes are offered in Ontario by community-based organizations as well as by local school boards, colleges, and universities.

If you are a recent immigrant to Canada and your English language skills are assessed as low to intermediate, you are eligible to take government-sponsored English classes through the Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) program.
