CMA Accreditation Program
There are five components to the CMA accreditation program. They are:
- degree from a recognized university
- prerequisite studies
- CMA Entrance Examination
- CMA Strategic Leadership Program
- practical work experience
Depending on your education and professional affiliation, you may be eligible for exemption or advanced standing for some of these requirements. Click here to find out if you may be eligible for exemption or advanced standing from any CMA accreditation requirement.
Many of the requirements for accreditation as a CMA can be completed outside of Canada, although there are several requirements that must be completed in Ontario. See the following sections for more information about each requirement.
