Improved Seniors Website Now Available
The Government of Canada has updated its seniors.gc.ca website, a central source of information for seniors, their families and caregivers. The website now features an interactive map with links to programs, services and benefits, among other changes.

Changes to the Canadian Passport Program
Starting July 1, 2013, Passport Canada will introduce the new ePassport which will be valid for 10 years for adults. There will also be changes to the application fees.

Ontario Distance Grant
Starting in 2013-14, the government of Ontario will allow Francophone students who travel a minimum of 80 km to attend full-time studies in French to qualify for the Ontario Distance Grant; no matter where they live in the province.
