How do I search?

If you already know your location, or are not sure what a service is called, use Topic Search:

  • Type in your location (city, address, or postal code).
  • Choose the topic (for example, settlement agencies, libraries or English classes).
  • Choose a name from the list on the left, or choose a red marker on the map. This will give you basic information about the service. Choose “More information” or “Text Only” for more details.

If you want to see where you can search, use Search By Region:

  • Choose a region from the list.
  • Choose the topic (for example, settlement agencies, libraries or English classes).
  • Choose a name from the list on the left, or on a red marker on the map. This will give you basic information about the service. Choose “More information” or “Text Only” for more details.

We have some general information about each region. For example:

  • Where it is
  • Population
  • Links to city services, local newspapers and public transit
  • Local events

This can be a good way to learn about different regions in Ontario.

I can’t find what I’m looking for in the list of topics.

Use Keyword Search:

  • Type in your location (city, address, intersection or postal code).
  • Type in the service you are looking for.
  • Choose “Search” or press Enter.
