What are ''organic'' foods and where can I buy them?

Buying organic produce helps renew the soil and protect the water supply. However, organic food usually costs more money. Organic food also spoils faster.

Whether or not you buy organic food, try to buy vegetables and fruits that are grown in Ontario (in season).

You can buy organic food at some:

• Heath food stores
• Grocery stores
• Farmers' markets
• Non-profit organizations
